It is a browser based platform that offers 24 hour trading, tight spreads, low IMRs and a vast range of markets including ETFs and Options. Unfortunately, however, traders will not find guaranteed stops with this broker.

The professional charting enables traders to monitor the live, real time price movements with customisable charts and to choose from a number of display styles with 70+ technical indicators. Users will benefit from daily briefing and global market reports and the ability to trade both quarterly and daily rolling bets while using risk management tools such as OCO orders, trailing stops and if-done orders.

The ETX Capital iPhone app will provide traders with the ability to access the markets 24 hours a day and utilise the 'one tap trading' to quickly open and close positions. You can view your trading and transaction history and you will also be able to place stop losses, limit orders, OCO orders and view several technical analysis indicators. This platform will work on iPhone, iPod and iPad.

The training provided by ETX is pretty comprehensive, offering clients access to webinars, seminars, a free trading book (for new accounts) and some more advanced seminars for more knowledgable traders. They have provided video tutorials that cover placing a trade, trade placement with stop orders, OCO orders and more.

The free seminars are run by a independent training company and consist of an hour-long presentation followed by a 30 minute platform tour and Q&A session. If you are unable to attend these seminars you can always join in one of the free weekly webinars, each lasting approximately 45 minutes and focusing on a specific area of trading. For example a webinar could focus on 'Swing Trading Vs Day Trading'.

The advanced trader course offered by ETX comes in 4 parts, each 2 hours long and available to new and existing ETX clients. They cover all aspects of trading from technical analysis and trading strategy to risk management and trading psychology. New account sign ups are also entitled to a free copy of 'The Beginners Guide to Financial Spread Betting' which is aimed at novices who are familiar with the stock market.
